M2.1.2 Advanced diagnostic training (Vikriti Pariksha)

Vaidya Atreya Smith will teach all methods of diagnosis focusing on pulse diagnosis which helps to clarify pathology in Ayurvedic medicine.

The first day will review all forms of diagnosis (tongue, pulse, etc.) and the second day will revise pulse diagnosis and then show how to use this data to establish a treatment plan for the patient. This is a different course than those taught by Vaidya Atreya in the past years. This training will help students practice Ayurvedic medicine in a more medical manner. It is a mandatory module for the Swiss Federal Diploma.

Ayurveda treats the causal dosha and not the symptoms of dosha. Therefore, this course will develop the understanding of the diagnosis of dosha imbalances. and the resulting pathology.
